An electrifying start to Summer!

MikeHall 2015 Lightning 051 small.jpg

June 25th of this year was as exciting as Christmas to me. Having captured far fewer lightning photos than in previous years, I wasn't expecting much. Sure, they were calling for the possibility of strong storms, but I have been disappointed too many times this year to ever get my hopes up. This storm was a pleasant surprise. I captured 260 lightning strikes, at least 80 of which are portfolio worthy.

As always, my photos are for sale as prints. Check out my prices on my prints page. If I have ever posted a photo you are interested in purchasing and it isn't on my prints page, simply contact me. If you are interested in learning to shoot lightning yourself, check out my tutorial. Safety first though.

I will shut up now and let the photos below speak for themselves.
