Shooting the Perseids

The Perseid meteor shower is extremely difficult to photograph here in western Kentucky. Light pollution cuts down on being able to see at least half of the meteors you might see in the western half of the United States. That didn't keep me from trying 3 nights in a row however.
The results were admittedly mixed. Here are the best ones I captured over the last few days as well as a time lapse video from the early morning hours of August 13th. The last image before the video is not a meteor but an Iridium flare from a satellite. All of these were shot in Hancock County, KY.
My lightning book photo project is still going strong but needs your help. Rewards range from $1 to $500. You can view that HERE or by clicking the banner at the bottom. I really want to make this book. It comprises the very best of the best of all the lightning photos I have captured over the last 8 years. Please take a look and tell your friends. Thanks.
